Skype!

Skype is wonderful! It's a great way for us to keep in touch with everyone from home. We have the webcam hooked up. You guys can see us, and if you have one...we can even see you. We even have a local 217 phone number, with voicemail. It was the number included in the "We're Moving" letter sent out. If you didn't get it...e-mail us and we'll send it your way. You can leave us messages or we can call any US number for free. It's great for keeping in contact with people that don't have the internet. Or even for those that do! We have internet at home now, so we're online at night and on the weekends! Actually, Gene is often online during the day on the iPod...but that doesn't have skype hookup.

Gene had some fun with Noah and Sam last night. They loved seeing him...I however was chopped liver. They couldn't understand that since they didn't have a webcam that we couldn't see them. They were showing us things, making funny faces and all sorts of things. Luckily, Erin and Pete were going to go buy one that same night! :) We'll have to try it out again! Then, we chatted with Travis, Gena and Alex for a while. Gene was ranting and raving about the toilet problem he's been dealing with here. Let's just say he has never had so much fun with the toilet before. I'm probably glad I wasn't here. Apparently, he needed towels to clean up and luckily, he hadn't showered yet...or he would have been taking 2 that day.
