Sorry, we have not been posting anything recently. Ang has been in Hamburg...next week will be 5 weeks here (but no where close to being the last trip). Gene came up and joined this week. He rode the train up from Switzerland and will go back next week. It's been rather boring here. Gene has seen all the sights here in Hamburg, so he's just been hanging around this trip. Except that when he does go for a walk, it ends up being a 3 hour tour, little buddies. Gene has been trying to find a restaurant with Alex, Alexandra, Blair, Travis or Gena in the name or somehow on a sign somewhere...but no luck so far...sorry Al. He did find Restaurant Kiel and Kartoffel Keller. We'll post those pics later. But, it is still nice to be able to spend some time together. That was something we did not get to do too often in the US thanks to Ang's travel schedule for work and Gene's job. Guess it is a luxury right now that Gene is not working and has the time to travel...and that travel is relatively cheap here within Europe. :)
We went shopping today here in Hamburg...in the rain. Things are cheaper here than in Switzerland, but still more expensive or closer to the US prices. We bought a lot of travel books for places we would like to visit here in Europe. And, then a few pieces of clothes and shoes for Ang. :)
We will try to post more when we have some more exciting news/photos to share. :)
