It has ARRIVED!!!!!! And, we are once again surrounded by boxes very literally. If anyone were to be in our guest bed, they would be completely surrounded by the large boxes, but the bed is made and waiting for guests. We have the computer up and running. Things are little by little looking like home. It was great to finally get our bed together and made. The first thing we did was jump in to it like little kids. It was so wonderful. As of yesterday, we had been 2 months without our bed. And, nothing dirty happened like Gene is saying right now. (Gene says he is going to edit this part of the post later). As we are unpacking the boxes, we have only found a few things that are broken/damaged...a few things that spilt, but nothing so bad that we are devestated. But, we still have a LOT of boxes to unpack. Oh, it was funny, we found out that olive oil does turn into a solid when it is cold enough. Luckily, the glass bottle did not break. :)
Injury Report: Ang - 3, Gene - 0. Ang's hands are cut to shreds from opening boxes, cutting them on things inside the boxes and skinning them against the wall. Not pretty. I could have up to 3 band-aids on my hands, but the tape from the boxes kept pulling them off, so I only have one right now. Gene is Gene.
Now it is time to figure out how to put the futon together. It came from the furniture store in one piece, but now it is in about 6. At least the directions are in English...not that that helps any. Gene is still cussing it out.

Maybe Angela should start beating up on Gene to even the score. Hooray for home stuff!
Oh, and the futon is still not put together. We have to find/order some parts. As we said, it was delivered in Atwood in one piece. It was taken apart for delivery. Well, at least 2 small parts that are VERY critical to have are not here. So...it's still in pieces. We think the movers here unpacked the futon, but did not make sure all the parts were removed from the packing paper and they trashed them. This also happened to the stand up mirror we had. Very frustrating!
