is done. They arrived 2 1/2 hours late. We got up at the crack of dawn and got to the apartment early because the movers were starting at 8 am. Ha! I got a nap in before they got here at 10:30. Quite ridiculous. But, they got busy working right away. They got the spare bedroom done and half of the dining room done. Lucky for them, we had already filled up our many plastic totes that were now empty with tons of stuff so they could just pack the totes. Well, that didn't last long when they started unpacking and repacking those in to boxes. I was quite upset that they put all my liquids (bath and body works and other extra bathroom stuff) in boxes, then put non-liquid stuff on top. There was a REASON for the liquids being by themselves in the plastic totes. If anything leaks it's all liquids and it's contained in the tote. Duh!!! But, what do I know?! Anyway, after their hour long lunch break at noon, they came back and finished the dining room, kitchen and closets at the front. Tomorrow they swear they are coming at 8 am and also going to have help...4 instead of 2. They think they will be completely finished tomorrow, too. We'll see. They have to finish the living room, office, 2 bathrooms (although there are about 5 things in each bathroom only) and our bedroom. Oh yeah, and the cave (storage area in the basement). Like I said...we'll see. :)
And, forgot about this...they are writing on the boxes, but they don't speak English...so it's all in French and quite illegible. Commode = dresser in French. Yeah, this is going to be fun when we get back to the US and have everything unpacked. It will be open the box outside and see what is in it before it goes in the house. Hope it's warm when we get unloaded! :)
